1/2 lb. Ground pork
1/2 cup cooked and shredded chicken breast
1 egg, unbeaten
3 tbl. Green Onions, chopped
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled, deveined and chopped
3 tbl. Garlic, minced
1/2 cup onions, diced
1/4 cup water chestnut, or jimica diced
1/2tsp Sesame oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tbl. Soy Sauce
12 diced tree tomatoes
24 wonton wrappers
2 tbl. Garlic, crushed
1/2 cup onions, chopped
3 tbl. Veggie oil
12 cups broth including juice of 20 Bilimbi
4 tbl. Fish sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 &1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tbl. Green onions, finely chopped
Instructions for filling: combine and mix well all the filling ingredients. Divide into 2 halves- one will go in broth and the other half will fill the wrappers.
Place the filling in the middle of each wrapper. Fold over one corner til it meets the opposite corner. Seal the edges with water. Cover with plastic until ready to add soup.
Instructions for broth: Sauté the garlic and onions in a large pot in the hot oil for 1 min. Add the remaining half of the filling mixture and cook for 5 min. or until light brown. Add the chicken broth and fish sauce and bring to a boil.
Gently add the wraps to broth and stir.
Cover the pot and boil for 15 min., stirring gently occasionally. Add the salt and pepper. Garnish with the green onions.
