Chinese Fruit Salad

Loquat                              4 pc

Kiwi                                  2

Mango                              1

Lychee, canned                 1

Banana                             1

Apple                                1

Lime                                 2

Sugar                               1/2 C

Water                                3 C

Toasted sesame seeds      6 tsp




     Zest and juice limes.  Save juice for later.  Combine sugar, water, and lime zest in a pot.  Heat gently until sugar is dissolved, then heat and boil gently for about 6 minutes.  Remove from heat and put it aside to cool.

     Drain Lychee and save the juice.  Squeeze limes.  Pour Lychee juice and limejuice into the cooled syrup.

     Cut Mango, Kiwi, and Apple into small cubes (small dice).  Cut Lychee and Loquat into quarters.  Also cut bananas into rounds.  Place all prepared fruit in a bowl and pour over the lime and lychee syrup.  Just before serving sprinkle toasted sesame seeds.
